Tbh I really think most of the rates on apps are fake. I hope anyone who can read this will know this isnt fake! My golly(yes I said golly lol) these apps are sooooooo worth it!!!!!! Its a shame theres only four tho!!!
Pretty good
I just dont do reviews, but this is a great game and Im really enjoying playing. I play both on my iPad and on my iPhone, the iPad is a great console to play the game on… The iPhone on the other hand is very hard to read. I think it would be easy to change the font size, background and font color, to be more readable on the iPhone. The storyline is great, and Taylor has some witty comebacks and an interesting conversationalist. The story has humor and suspense, and really draws you in to Taylors predicament. Im not crazy about having to wait for Tyler to accomplish something in real time, sometimes I only have 10 or 15 minutes to play the game, and more than half of that can be spent waiting for Tyler to finish his activity. It would be nice to have a feature to go into quick mode if you need.
For the past two months I have been going through a rough transition in my life. I was trying to get my mind off of things so I began to play Lifeline during downtime. Since I began a few weeks ago I have been focusing on what I have to do with my family, friends, and job - all the while taking a few breaks every other day or so to check in with Taylor, the protagonist of this game. I immediately loved how similar it was like my favorite book series as a kid - the Choose Your Own Adventure series (which this game makes a reference to). It hasnt been easy guiding Taylor through his/her terrifying journey on this mysterious moon rock in space. But Taylors struggle has been not too much unlike my struggle, so I stuck through it. I failed once and killed Taylor, but I immediately started over and took my guidance of him/her more seriously. Taylors character is very much like us all. We love Taylor because he/she is that uncertain part in us that asks questions - waiting for a guiding answer from someone/something. What makes it so special is that we - the question askers - end up choosing the answers for our character/ourselves. The looming philosophical dilemma of free will vs. destiny throughout this game is what makes it an instant classic. The time spent on guiding Taylor home will forever be part of the memory of this transitional period in my life. Maybe it will bring something meaningful to yours.
This game was worth the money. Engaging and fun. Ive recommended it to a few friends and they all really enjoy it. Give it a chance and youll love the experience.
such an immersive experience, the way the text is set up is smart and unique, awesome!
This game is amazing, I have finished it and have replayed it and checked out the sequels (also awesome).
Neat idea, a choose your own adventure story via text. I wanted to like it, but I didnt. The choices are often meaningless, to the point where you are basically saying "go on..." The main character needs endless prompting and validation. The idea of an non-heroic narrator is a good one, but he doesnt need to be so whiny. Any dramatic tension is killed by endless reiteration. Also the text (in this entirely text based game) is nearly illegible. I made it to the end, but seriously considered deleting the game halfway through. I wish I hadnt bothered with this one.
Riveting storyline and good game mechanics
If you enjoy a good written story and interactive game. You should get this!!
This app is honestly very fun. You get a message from an astronaut and he is stranded on a far away moon. I love choosing what he does. The reason I rated it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is I think it should be updated about once a month with new stories. You shouldnt have to pay for each.
Reviews are something I normally ignore when games are asking me for them. But this one I couldnt help it I needed to say how amazing it was. From the beginning to the end you feel like Taylor is close to you and you need to protect them. Im very happy to of bought this game
Not entirely sure how this is a game but its a great time killer when your at a bar and theres no one to talk to!
I just love the game. Great story too.
This game is great, it is especially good because you can turn the app off and wonder what will happen next.
This game has a unique concept that makes you intrigued and always looking forward to the next message.
I love this app so much, and I love Taylor. He is like a best freind. I killed Taylor but I re-started the game so he wouldnt. I cried when I thought he would be gone forever. Taylor was just like a true best freind.
