Way more addictive than youd think. Kudos.

Great concept in trying to connect the storyline to the player as though the iPhone is actually communicating with the protagonist, Taylor. However, thats as far as it develops. The "texts" in the game are uninteresting to look at after a while, and there are several narrative texts before you can respond with a canned choice. Its as though a paragraph was broken up into sentences and fed one at a time. Then, when you instruct Taylor to do something that will take a while, you have to stop playing since hes "offline." When hes ready for you, you get a notification...several lines of notification. Its as though hes going to keep telling you whats happening whether you respond or not. The. You open the app, make a choice, get a few more lines and Taylor is offline again. It has such potential, but as an interactive story its too disengaging to finish (I didnt). I also dont want cursing in my storytelling.
This game explores territory that could change mobile gaming. This is the kind of game that I want on my phone, excited to try out the other two, great work.
I love the concept and storyline, very interesting keep it up
I enjoy this game. It make you look at a problem that affects another persons life. So far Taylor is not doing well by my decisions.
This game has a good storyline, and it is a fun alternative to xbox style graphics, which sometimes arent realistic. In this game, the images are generated by your imagination.
The game is one of the best for the Apple Store and all time. Vary fun and doesnt take a ton of youre time.
...but JUST TOO SLOW to keep my attention. There are so many things pulling at a mans attention these days, the repeated slow spots in the play just mean my attention gets pulled away, and I end up not playing more that a minute or two per session. Speed it up.
Its like having a really needy friend in my pocket! Seriously fun though. Really good interface as well!
Ive never been one to love interactive choice games, but this totally changed my mind. It includes great dialogue and an interesting sense of realism with the waiting times. The waiting periods are especially helpful in leaving me wanting to know what happens next and making the game last longer in general. You really start to form connections to the character and feel as if you are mission control assisting some astronaut on a foreign planet. Over all a great game and if you are the type who can appreciate dialogue and enjoys role playing games this is the game for you.
It was a really captivating game... Excited to play the sequels
The interactive story format is a cool idea and works really well on a mobile platform. One minor problem I noticed while playing on my iPad Air is that if I come to a point where Taylor is busy and leave the app, the badge number will still show the number 1 as if Taylor has started communicating again. Tapping the app and exiting a second time make it go away. Please fix this.
The idea of a text-based adventure game that plays out over hours or days is great. But the implementation here is awful. Too many decisions lead to instant death and the writing is as bad as Ive ever seen in any media. Unengaging, unrealistic, and boring.
I wont ruin the story but even though this is only a text based game its really fun to see the trouble the main character go through. Super addicting. I love seeing the messages pop up on my phone. It means its time to further the story.
Its lit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was one of the best apps Ive ever played. The way you pick things effects the storyline, and either way, the storyline is great. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. 10/10
You Herd me. This game is bomb. Its very in depth, simple, but very creative. You have to save a stranded astronaut. 5 out of 5
At first I saw it awhile back and I kept it in my mind and Im glad I did not forget about this app. When it was free for a week I was pumped to play it. I downloaded the app and started it up, instantly I felt that this mans life was in hands. I got sucked into the story feeling like I was really in the Mission Control Center talking helping him every step. After the story ended I felt like I had down my job for letting him survive. The people that made this app I would like to thank them for writing this amazing story, guys keep up the great work!
For a game that costed money it was surprisingly short. Not that I didnt love the game... I just expected more. Its like reading a short story over a three day period and then when you finish youre like, it was good but it wasnt that good and this costed money. Its also like a short story because theres like only one ending excluding the main character dying. The idea is great but they really shouldve put more time into making other endings or updating the game with new content.
By way of example... "Im very thirsty and there are 2 glasses of liquid on the table. Should I drink A or B?" I click B "OK, uh, I guess Ill do that, but it looks like B is starting the eat through the glass. But you picked it. Oh, look at that. Im melting." Im offered choices with no information that can help me make a rational decision. Id love to use my brain power here, but with zero details regarding the choices, its really just flipping a coin. If you told me about the hazardous terrain BEFORE asking which path to take, Id know if I was picking between risky and fast vs. safer and longer.
